David Mead from Great Northern Birdwatching Tours (Cairns) and Luke Paterson from N.T.Bird Specialists (Darwin) have joined resources to create a limited Australian-first birdwatching opportunity.

This extraordinary adventure will have you witnessing dramatic changes in eco-systems, avifauna and not to mention simply spectacular Australian scenery.

Our exploration begins in the tropical rainforests of North Queensland and then moves through open savannahs, escarpment country of Lawn Hill Gorge, Mt Isa region, the dry arid zones of the Barkley Tablelands area, beautiful Mataranka and finally finishing with outstanding birding in the Greater Darwin area. This tour also departs in reverse from Darwin, swapping guides in Mt Isa to maximise the best local knowledge around.

There will be an extensive target species list TBA. a few of the highlights will be, Grey Falcon, Pictorella Mannikin, Black Throat, Painted, and Gouldian Finch, Victoria's Riflebird, Toothbilled Bowerbird along with an array of other wet tropic endemics, also Dusky, Kalkadoon and Carpentarian Grasswren, Buff-sided Robin, Purple-crowned Faiywren, Yellow Chat, Flock Bronzewing and many, many more!
