This fully accommodated birding adventure begins in Queenslands north western Mt Isa region and concludes in the tropical rainforest city of Cairns. The specific itinerary we follow is designed to not only have you experience some truly unique Australian landscapes, but also give you the best opportunity to access an incredible species list of Queensand birds. Including: Cloncurry Ringneck, Kalkadoon Grasswren, Rufous-crowned Emuwren, Halls Babbler, Rusty Grasswren, Black-chinned, Grey-fronted, Grey-headed and Black Honeyeaters, Crested Bellbird, Long-tailed, Plumhead, Pictorella and Painted Finch, Black-tailed Treecreeper, Budgerigar, Cockatiel, Black and Grey Falcon, this suite of birds is just a small sample not to mention all the options once we reach the tropical coast.
Additional experiences include a fabulous tour of the 'Lark Quarry Dinosaur Stampede' and a vist to the world renowned 'Tyto Wetlands'. Traveling with a small group (4 pax only) in a luxury 4wd with an experienced local guide is certainly a rewarding and memorable way to bird across North Queensland from east to west.
